Ariel-Foundation Park is pleased to bring the Halloween Hootenanny to life on Sunday, Oct. 24, from 4-6 p.m. on The Lakes side of the park.
THIS IS A FREE EVENT.

Costume Policy:

  • Guests younger than 13 years old and their guardians are encouraged to wear costumes, however adults are NOT permitted to wear costume/Halloween masks or have face paint.
  • Ariel-Foundation Park is a family destination; creative costumes are encouraged and should be in good taste. 

If you are a busines wanting to participate with a treat or game/activity station, please call 740-398-6603.

Enjoy a DJ; candy, game, and activity stations provided by local businesses and organizations, and much more. Meet costumed characters, hear from storytellers and enjoy food truck goodies.

Each child in attendance will receive a coupon from Paragraphs Bookstore or Wendy's, while supplies last.

Knox Rocks will provide a rock treasure hunt - search for 10 prize rocks for local businesses.

 Ariel-Foundation Park, located in Mount Vernon, Ohio, is a 250-acre civic park that offers a one-of-a-kind experience for visitors of all ages.

Visiting Hours

Ariel-Foundation Park is officially open April 1 through November 15. Some areas of the park are accessible to pedestrians year-round. Daily hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. There are no admissions or parking fees. The Rastin Observation Tower, park museum, picnic pavillions, trails and other park features are free and open to the public. The Rastin Observation Tower is open during winter months, as long as weather allows.
